Nitrile: NBR

These are butadiene and acrylonitrile copolymers, normally known as Nitrile Rubber.

Increasing acrylonitrile content on the one hand increases resistance of oils, fuel etc. It also increases the breaking load, abrasion resistance and hardness, temperature resistance and water resistance. On the other hand, it reduces resistance and flexibility at low temperatures.
